Why a more expensive car parts dealer?

November 26, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

We took our 2001 Honda Civic at the Honda dealership. They said our VTEC solenoid valve should be replaced. They are responsible, we are well over $ 200 for the game.
I called Pep Boys to see if we could get a lower price, and I discovered the same game at the Honda dealer for $ 140 to get. They charge us a total of $ 285 for work and partying. While Honda would charge us a total of $ 500.
Why is the cost even more to the same place?

Motorcycles only OEM parts. Pep Boys uses the so-called “aftermarket” part, more or less means a blow from the original.
